We invite you to sponsor Rhyming for a Reason, the first-ever annual fundraising event for The Berkana Institute. Over the past three years, our work with pioneering leaders around the world has emerged in exciting and creative ways. We have a new story to tell, and many friends throughout Boston and beyond are asking us to bring this story home.
Berkana's work is made possible by people who, like us, believe that substantive change happens locally through the collective actions of ordinary people and that transformation happens globally when local efforts are connected and people learn together. Through the contributions of individuals and foundations, we support the learning and evolution of learning centers and the thousands of emerging leaders they reach worldwide.
We invite you to be our partner in making this a successful event. For more information, please read on, or contact Lauren Parks at 603-661-2941 or lauren@berkana.org.
By becoming a sponsor, you will directly contribute to Berkana's capacity to support new learning centers. In addition, you will also receive the following donor benefits:
Private Reception with Meg Wheatley. As a sponsor, you and seven guests will be invited to a private cocktail reception with Margaret Wheatley from 7 to 8 PM. VIP ticket holders will also be invited to attend this reception. Co-founder of Berkana, Meg is an internationally acclaimed speaker and author of Leadership and the New Science, A Simpler Way, Turning to One Another, and Finding Our Way. The reception includes open bar and hors d'oeuvres until 8 PM.
Enjoy Gourmet Local Food with Catering by JJ Gonson. Sponsors attending the private reception before the event will be treated to the deliciously creative samplings of "Best of Boston 2008" award-winning caterer and personal chef, JJ Gonson. Visit JJ's website for recipes and her blog about local food, markets and farmers: www.cuisineenlocale.com
