Merry and Durkee - where socially conscious British slam poetry meets soulful Canadian acoustic guitar. "We’re not going to die saying we didn’t give it a go." www.merryanddurkee.com

What are Merry and Durkee all about? They are about making music that matters, giving voice to the greatest fears and joys of being human at this time on the planet.

The songs of Tim Merry and Marc Durkee are alive, awakening, uplifting, participative, reflective, full of heart and clarity - provocateurs of meaningful conversation and evocateurs of the best in all of us.

They make music that brings people together, gives voice to a movement in all of us that does not make the media. This is a call to arts, when the world is being called to arms.

Tim Merry will also be our emcee for the evening. He is a traveling slam poet, social entrepreneur and host of large scale participatory leadership processes. Marc Durkee is a solo artist in his own right, plays anything he can get his hands and music is his life path.
